Thinking is Sculpting

My latest article is now available on the NSEAD site.

This has already been well received due to the opportunity it offers in bridging theory, art practice, learning and teaching at a school level. It is very practical and designed to support art educators developing their own sculpture curriculum. In many ways it is my attempt to try to challenge the neglect of sculpture in schools; an attempt to reverse the decline in school making; to offer a simple framework for planning; to give new and established art teachers different approaches; to create a debate about the orthodoxy of practice in schools; and simply to make school art lessons more fun for pupils and teachers!
