Should We Teach Art?

On the evening of May 29th I chaired a discussion with a panel and a very large audience at the Freelands Foundation in Camden. The event was run to coincide with the UCL IOE PGCE artist teachers show 'RESIST - things artist do whilst learning to teach'. This is a project UCL IOE and the Freelands Foundation have been running for several years exploring the artist teacher role in education. The panel for the evening was Juan Bolivar (artist and curator), Michele Gregson (NSEAD General Secretary) and Munira Mirza

(Director of Culture Kings College London).
