Artist Teachers final year exhibition at UCL IOE

It has come to that time of year again when this years mighty fine cohort of PGCE secondary art and design trainee teachers complete their end of year show. We have two weeks left before the PV night on Friday 21st June at 5.30pm on level 8 of the IOE. There at 45 students, experts from a range of specialisms including; art, craft, design, critical studies, art history, architecture, film, socially engaged practice and visual culture. They are given a simple brief, to reconnect with their artistic practice after spending 24 weeks in schools, and to choose an issue from their teaching experience that they can visually articulate using their own specialist practice. They will be exhibiting across the four studios of the IOE ADM dept, which will be open for one week only following the PV evening. The Artist Teachers will be available during the exhibition opening times to meet and discuss their work with visitors.
