Tide & Place exhibition at WRAP with Sussex Bay

WRAP and Sussex Bay have invited me to show in 'Tide and Place' an exhibition by UK-based artists exploring our relationship with the sea and coastline. WRAP and Sussex Bay have partnered with local artists under the banner ‘Sussex Bay Creates’ to demonstrate the ability of art to bring us together to learn, explore and experience, resulting in a programme of curated exhibitions and responses.

'Tide and Place' explores how we interact, inhabit, narrate and think of the marine environment, both individually and on a collective scale. In the middle of the Anthropocene crisis, how can we reinforce our position as part of nature, rather than apart from it? The exhibition will reflect a variety of mediums, practices and community initiatives, resulting in a dynamic conversation between the self and the sea.
