Artisteacher Network event Weds 21st May 6.30-8.30pm

Calling all artists, art teachers and art educators! Join @1andyash and @katethax for an interactive response to the MA Art Education, Culture and Practice @maartedu final year show.

The session will provide insight into the students’ innovative research on the relationship between art practice, pedagogy and culture, as well as provide space for discussion and activities with students working across a range of educational contexts, from primary, secondary and tertiary levels to galleries and prisons.

Artist teachers Andy Ash and Kate Thackara will lead the session, providing an opportunity to explore teaching as artistic practice from an expansive viewpoint, with a particular focus on its potential when applied in exciting and unusual ways and in response to current issues.
